The Forest Park JV wrestling team turned in a strong performance over the weekend, finishing 9th out of 16 teams. Hunter Osborne (165 lbs) led the way for the Rangers, earning a 1st-place finish. At 157 lbs, Forest Park placed two wrestlers as Taven Borden took 3rd place and Dexter Meyer finished 6th. Layton Lubbehusen (175 lbs) also added a 6th-place finish to the team’s total. Jace Brockman (106 lbs) and Trey Steckler (126 lbs) each had competitive and close matches throughout the day, but came up just short of placing. As a team, the Rangers outscored their opponents 92–81, recorded 17 takedowns, 10 pins, and finished the day with a 13–11 overall match record. The JV Rangers continue to gain experience and momentum as the season moves forward.
