The 7th grade Lady Rangers earned a gritty 28–24 victory at Tecumseh, using a strong fourth quarter and tough defense to secure the win. The Rangers opened strong with 8 points in the first quarter, but a cold second frame left them trailing 12–10 at halftime. Madelyn Berg had a strong game, finishing with 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Raylee Weyer added 8 points and 4 boards. Maci Combs and Elsie Warren chipped in 4 and 2 points respectively. Defense proved the difference. Warren and Annabelle Giesler combined for 13 steals, sparking fast breaks and momentum swings. Berg and Combs added 8 more steals, while Warren led the team in assists with 2. The pressure forced turnovers that fueled a decisive 12-point fourth quarter, outpacing Tecumseh’s steady 6 points per period. Balanced contributions and a determined fourth quarter defense carried the Lady Rangers to the 28–24 win, a performance that showcased resilience and teamwork in a tough road environment. The 7th grade Lady Rangers move to 3-1 on the young season and will not play again until after the Thanksgiving break with a game against Dubois at home on Monday, December 1.
