The Forest Park Lady Rangers 7th grade team pulled out a 21–19 victory on the road at Tell City Tuesday evening, improving their season record to 6–1. Despite struggling to score through the first three quarters, the Rangers leaned on a strong early fourth quarter scoring burst to build a lead—one they needed every bit of to withstand a slew of turnovers toward the end of the fourth quarter and a hard-charging Tell City finish. Madelyn Berg paced the team on both ends with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 steals, while Maci Combs added 6 points and 6 steals. Raylee Weyer contributed 5 points and 7 rebounds, and Annabelle Giesler chipped in with 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. Elsie Warren’s hustle added 3 rebounds and 2 steals to the defensive effort. The Lady Rangers will look to learn from the challenges of tonight’s game while also using Wednesday’s practice to prepare for another tough road game in Washington on Thursday evening.
