8th Grade Lady Rangers at Washington (42-44) Loss Quarter Scoring: Lady Rangers: 13-14-9-8 Washington: 11-5-12-16 The Lady Rangers kicked off 2026 with a makeup game at Washington on Thursday. It was a tough match-up from start to finish, but the Rangers pulled away in the first half to take a 27–16 lead. However, to start the second half Washington came out on fire, hitting 5 of 11 three-point field goals (7 of 14 for the game). The Lady Rangers held onto the lead until the final minutes, but Washington made several big plays to go up by two with 50 seconds remaining. The Rangers had two good looks to regain the lead but were unable to convert in the final seconds. Both teams played very hard until the final horn. The Lady Rangers (10-2; PAC 5-2) will play Southridge at home for their last regular season home game on Monday, January 12th. The 8th grade will tip around 7:00 pm ET.
