🏀 7th Grade Lady Rangers Return From Break With 31–9 Victory at Washington

The 7th grade Lady Rangers came out for their first game following Christmas break a little rusty on the offensive end in the first quarter, but finally opening things up a bit in the second to earn a strong 31–9 road win at Washington to move to 11–1 on the season. Elsie Warren led the Lady Rangers in scoring with 9 points, followed by Raylee Weyer with 7, Madelyn Berg with 6, Maci Combs with 5, and Annabelle Giesler had 4. On the glass, Berg set the tone with 5 rebounds (3 offensive). Weyer and Combs each pulled down 4, Haylee Betz added 3, Giesler grabbed 2, and Lyla Atkins, Brooklyn Dooley, Braxlynn Cole, and Lena Schmuecker each chipped in 1. Defensively, the Rangers were lead by Warren and Giesler each with 8 steals, Combs added 6, Dooley had 3, Berg and Schmuecker each had 2, and Emma King added 1. Giesler, King, and Warren each handed out 1 assist. The slow offensive start eventually yielded to a complete team effort to start the team's new year. The 7th grade Lady Rangers return to action on Monday for their final home game of the season as they host county rival Southridge.
