The Forest Park wrestling team turned in a strong performance at its home tournament on Saturday, finishing 2nd overall with a 4–1 team record. The Rangers picked up wins over Princeton, Pike Central, North Knox, and Jasper (JV). Forest Park’s only loss of the day came in the opening round against South Spencer, but the Rangers responded well and finished the tournament strong. Individually, Forest Park crowned three champions. Eli Brockman (144 lbs), Clayton Roesner (157 lbs), and Izak Meyer (175 lbs) each claimed 1st place at their weight classes to lead the team. The Rangers continue to show progress as they build momentum heading into the next stretch of the season. The next chance to see the team in action is on Thursday, January 15 at Providence at 6:30.
