8th Grade Lady Rangers vs Southridge (25-22) Win Quarter Scoring: Lady Rangers: 5-5-7-8 Southridge: 4-4-5-9 The Lady Rangers played their final regular-season home game Monday night against county rival Southridge. Before tipoff, 12 eighth-graders were recognized for their hard work this season—practicing, managing, and cheering. The game began slowly and remained sluggish for much of the contest as neither team could find a rhythm. FP also ran into early foul trouble in the first half. The Rangers led for most of the game but surrendered the advantage late in the fourth quarter. Following a Lady Ranger timeout with about two minutes remaining, FP increased its intensity and forced several consecutive turnovers. They scored and sank a free throw in the final seconds to retake the lead. Southridge had one last shot at the buzzer, but it rimmed out, and the Rangers secured the victory. The Lady Rangers (11-2; PAC 6-2) will play at Jasper next Thursday, January 22nd. The 8th grade will tip around 7:00 pm ET.
