The Forest Park wrestling team gathered to celebrate its season at the annual team banquet, recognizing the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of its athletes. The Rangers finished the season with a 9-13 team record, but were just three team points away from turning that into a 13-9 season, highlighting how competitive the team was throughout the year. Forest Park also advanced two wrestlers to the IHSAA Regional round, as Clayton Roesner and Hunter Osborne both qualified. Several athletes were recognized for their achievements on and off the mat. First Letter Award recipients included Colson Healy, Trey Steckler, and Ayden Stenftenagel. In the classroom, the Rangers had multiple wrestlers earn Academic All-State honors. Eli Brockman and Izak Meyer were named Junior 2nd Team, while Clayton Roesner earned Junior 1st Team honors. Owen Troesch was recognized as a Senior 1st Team. On the mat, Clayton Roesner had a standout season, earning Most Pins, Most Takedowns, and Team MVP honors. Additional team awards included Eli Brockman receiving the Captains Award, Izak Meyer being named Most Improved, and Owen Troesch earning the team's Warrior Award.
