The Rangers traveled to Loogootee tonight to play the Lions. The Rangers played hard but fell short 1-4 but not without a fight. Jenna Matthews - in Ranger tennis form - played a tie break tonight and fell short 2-7. While Jenna lost her match, this was one of the best ones she has had this season. Her first set was 2-6 but that didn’t stop her from putting up a huge comeback in the 2nd set to tie 6-6 and go into a tie break. Bree Morrison and Anna Jahn at 1 doubles came out with a win! Addison at 1 singles and Sydney at 3 had some tough opponents but they kept battling where they could. Kenley and Abba at 2 doubles also battled where they could and had some great rallies. It was a tough loss but the girls will use what they learned tonight for their next match! This was the first match of the season for the majority of JV and we were seeing some great things happening!
