The Forest Park Rangers earned a dramatic 11-10 win over Tell City on Tuesday, scoring in the bottom of the seventh to secure a walk-off victory. Tell City jumped out early, taking advantage of a hit-by-pitch and an error to score three runs in the first inning. They added another run in the second to build a 4-1 lead. Forest Park battled back throughout the game and took control in the sixth inning. The Rangers scored five runs in the frame, highlighted by a two-run double from Hudson King, to move ahead 8-6. Tell City answered in the top of the seventh, putting together several hits to regain the lead at 10-8. The Rangers responded one final time in the bottom half. King delivered again with a two-run single to tie the game, and later in the inning, Carter Jochem drew a walk with the bases loaded to bring in the winning run. King led the way offensively, going 3-for-5 with five RBIs. He was joined by Grant Fleck, who also had three hits, while Damion Kline added two hits and swiped two bases. On the mound, Jochem started and struck out six over four innings. Kline earned the win in relief, closing out the final inning. Forest Park finished with 11 hits and showed patience at the plate, drawing seven walks in the win. The Rangers will be back in action Wednesday as they travel to Barr-Reeve.
