The Rangers tonight had a tough lineup against the Patriots. The Rangers played hard , they fell short 0-5 though. While the score shows 0, that doesn’t represent the come backs that were happening on the courts with the intense rallies, tremendous plays and great energy. Addison Schneider at 1 singles struggled in the first set but was able to come back 4-6 in the second. Sydney Berger at 2 singles had a huge comeback , she fought so hard in the second set to make it 5-7 and played with great determination. Lastly, Kenley Schipp and Abba Collignon at 2 doubles were able to come back the second set but ultimately fell short in a tie break for the third set. That was a high intensity game to watch and the girls fought hard. The outcome isn’t what any of the girls wanted but they left it all out on the courts and nobody could have asked them to play any harder! Varsity: 1 Singles: Addison Schneider lost in 2 sets against Kenley Bell 2-6, 4-6 2 Singles: Sydney Berger lost in 2 sets against Kyra Bell 1-6, 5-7 3 Singles: Jenna Matthews lost in 2 sets against Kendal Seifert 0-6, 1-6 1 Doubles: Bree Morrison and Anna Jahn lost in 2 sets against Becca Heeke and Miah Rahman 2-6, 0-6 2 Doubles: Abba Collignon and Kenley Schipp lost in 2 sets and a 3rd set tie break to Riley Steinmetz and Gabi Keller 3-6, 6-4, 2-10 At the JV level great things were happening on the courts! Junior Varsity: 1 Singles: Brynn Vaught won in 1 set against Julia Paulin 8-2 2 Singles: Piper Laake lost in 1 set against Bryalee Bende 4-8 1 Doubles: Hallie Boehm and Avari Boeglin won in 1 set against Tori Wahl and Autumn Braun 8-2 2 Doubles: Hallie Boehm and Avari Boeglin won in 1 set against Gabi Keller and McKenna Sitzman 6-0 3 Doubles: Nora Welp and Sophie Miller lost in 1 set against Ryleigh Scott and Madison Sisely 7-8 That finishes up the 3 matches for the week.
