The Forest Park Rangers Boys Track Team finished 8th at the 2026 Sectional Championships at Jasper last night. Congratulations to Caleb Sickbert who advanced to Regionals in both the Discus and the Shot Put. On the night, he threw a PR of 47-2.5 in the Shot Put, surpassing 47-0 for the first time and bettering his previous best by more than half a foot. Congratulations to our Seniors Owen Troesch and Camden Cole for stellar performances in their final meet with the Rangers. Owen set a PR in the 1600M, breaking the 5 Minute barrier for the first time with a time of 4:59.42. Camden set a PR in the 800M with a time of 2:19.43 and turned in a season best relay split while helping the 4x400 team finish with a season best time. We are thankful for all that Owen and Camden have contributed to the FPHS track team, and more broadly to Forest Park. We wish them all the best in the future.
