Forest Park senior Jaxon Lueken has been selected to the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) South All-Star Team as a pitcher following an outstanding 2026 season on the mound for the Rangers. Lueken was a key piece of Forest Park’s pitching staff throughout the spring, finishing with a 4-1 record and a 2.29 ERA across 36.2 innings pitched. He struck out 57 batters while limiting opponents to a .146 batting average, showcasing his ability to consistently dominate hitters and keep opposing offenses in check. In nine appearances, including eight starts, Lueken allowed just 18 hits and posted a 1.31 WHIP while recording nearly 1.6 strikeouts per inning. His combination of command, competitiveness, and ability to miss bats made him one of the top pitchers in Southern Indiana this season. In addition to his accomplishments on the field, Lueken provided valuable leadership as a senior and helped guide the Rangers throughout a successful season. Following graduation, Lueken will continue his athletic and academic journey at Indiana University. His selection to the IHSBCA South All-Star Team serves as a fitting recognition of an exceptional senior season and a memorable Forest Park baseball career.
