The Rangers came up 10 shots short of advancing to the State Finals in the incredibly competitive Washington Regional. Castle Knights Boys Golf captured the Regional title with a 291, followed by Bloomington South Panthers Boys Golf at 295 and Evansville Memorial Tigers Boys Golf at 299. While the season may have ended today, it does not diminish what this senior class accomplished. Over the past three years, they have transformed Forest Park golf and established a new standard of excellence that future Ranger teams will strive to match. 2024 🏆 Broke the 9-hole team scoring record with a 152 at Country Oaks, ending a record that had stood for more than 40 years. 🏆 Sectional Runner-Up 2025 🏆 Broke the 9-hole team scoring record again, firing a 146 at Christmas Lake. 🏆 Set a new 18-hole team scoring record with a 326 at Sultans Run. 🏆 Maddox Geyer tied the school 9-hole individual scoring record with a 34 (-2). 🏆 Sectional Runner-Up 2026 🏆 Set a new 18-hole team scoring record with a 324 at Country Oaks. 🏆 Smashed that record just weeks later with a remarkable 304 at Christmas Lake. 🏆 Collin Lorey tied the school 9-hole individual scoring record with a 34 (-2). 🏆 Established the current school 18-hole team scoring record with an incredible 299 at Sultans Run. 🏆 Xander Fleig set the school 18-hole individual scoring record with a 72. 🏆 Earned the first Top-25 state ranking in program history. 🏆 Captured the first PAC Conference Championship in school history with a team score of 306 at Country Oaks. 🏆🔥 Won the first Sectional Championship in school history, firing a 299 and winning by 20 shots. 🏆 Xander Fleig became the first Forest Park individual Sectional Champion in 37 years. The accomplishments of this senior class extend far beyond trophies and records. Through dedication, leadership, and relentless work ethic, they elevated Forest Park golf to heights never before reached. They leave behind a legacy that includes conference championships, sectional championships, school records, state recognition, and memories that will be remembered for generations. Congratulations to Xander Fleig, Collin Lorey, Maddox Geyer, and Ben Rasche on an unforgettable career as Rangers. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger!
