The JV Ranger Football Team took on West Washington tonight at Best Home Furnishings Stadium. The team won 12-6, and there were a lot of exciting plays! Kale King led the Rangers with 2 two rushing touchdowns, but he had some awesome throws down field. Passes were caught by Reid Gehlhausen, Brydan O'Keefe, Braydon Welp, Shane Oeding and Jaxon Deel. Oeding, O'Keefe, Deel, Wyatt Berger, and Jensen Phillips all carried the ball tonight. Abe Hoppenjans had a blocked punt and recovered it! Koby Greulich had an interception that was a huge momentum swing! He also forced a fumble later in the game, recovered by Gehlhausen. Defense was led by a swarm of Rangers - Berger, Mason Betz, Mitchell Verkamp, Greulich, Phillips, O'Keefe, Colson Healy, Deel, Gehlhausen, Trey Steckler, Welp, Warren Zink, Hoppenjans, Dylan Ambrose, and Beau Roesner! We are proud of the guys battling. With 4 seconds left, Kale King punched it in to go up 12-6! The JV team is back in action next Monday at BHFS vs. Washington!
