Jaci Verkamp (7th) got things rolling for the Rangers on Monday at Northeast Dubois with a goal over the outstretched arms of the Jeep goalkeeper. Madelyn Berg (8th) also added one before halftime. Forest Park responded to the slow, first-half scoring with some extra gusto for 35 minutes. Annabelle Giesler (8th) gathered a loose ball outside of the penalty area, turned and fire a shot past the goalkeeper to kickstart the second-half barrage of offense. Soon after, Avery Jahn snuck a shot in between the near post and goalkeeper to stretch the Ranger lead. Paisley Foerster (6th) then managed to beat a couple of defenders and finish her 1v1 opportunity. Madelyn Berg went on a scoring spree with two solos goals and a corner kick that led to an own goal by the Dubois defense. Forest Park would go on to win 8-1. The Rangers move to a 6-0-2 record with eyes on 5-0 Evansville Christian on Thursday at Goebel Complex in Evansville.
