FP Boys Tennis Sweeps Tell City and Mount Vernon on Saturday The Forest Park Boys Tennis team traveled to Tell City on Saturday morning for a PAC Double-header vs Tell City and Mount Vernon. The Rangers were able to start at 9am and be home by noon after two matches. Jace Brockman played 1S vs both Tell City and Mount Vernon, and he played very well. Jace only gave up 2 games over both matches. Miles Rea played 2S vs both teams as well and was able to have confidence and hit his strokes. Miles only gave 2 games total as well. Harrison Gutgsell played the first 3S match vs Tell City and was able to work some things out with his serve and grounds strokes. He won that match with ease. Trey Benton moved back to 3S vs Mount Vernon and was able to win his match by only giving up 1 game. Trey played with confidence and played his game. Tell City did not have a 1D or a 2D team so those positions were forfeited to the Rangers. Eli Brockman and Clayton Roesner cruised through their match vs Mount Vernon. The boys played more loosely and with more confidence. Jace Betz and Drew Fischer played 2D vs Mount Vernon and had a clean sweep against their opponents. Colton Osborn was also able to get a JV match in today vs Mount Vernon. He also won that match. Overall, the Rangers had a successful morning.
