Yesterday morning, the Forest Park Cross Country team competed in the Columbus North Rick Weinheimer Invite, which featured more than 2,200 competitors across the junior high and high school races. The girls kicked off the morning for the Rangers with a very strong performance, finishing 5th out of 16 teams in the Small School Division. Several runners also set new personal and season records! Girls Small School Results • Kendal Gehlhausen — 11th, 21:45 — lowered her season record by 15 seconds • Dylan Steczyk — 15th, 22:04 — lowered her personal record by 1:02 • Delainey Auffart — 31st, 23:13 — lowered her personal record by 20 seconds • Aria Huff — 42nd, 23:58 — lowered her personal record by an impressive 2:24 • Kendall Fischer — 50th, 24:38 — lowered her personal record by 39 seconds • Addi Evitts — 61st, 25:01 • Braylee Wahl — 70th, 26:26 • Olivia DeSchamp — 101st, 27:55 The boys also had a strong showing, finishing 15th out of 18 teams in the Small School Division. Several runners continued to make significant improvements to their season and personal records. It was exciting to see so many Rangers continue to improve and set new personal and season records. We also had a great showing from a few of our Junior High XC runners, who had the option to compete this holiday weekend. Congrats to Brexton, Leo, Quintin, Caleb and Miles as well as Briella, Annabelle, Lynae, Audrey and Adele. You all represented FPXC so well and we even had a PR set and a few SR's!
