Forest Park scored in the first minute but only managed one more goal the rest of the half. In the second half, the older Ranger team scored early and often to finish with an 8-0 win. In the end, Bryson Becher and Max Werne each scored a brace, with Carson Kellems, Collin Thomas, and Gavin Carroll all contributing a goal. The highlight of the game was AJ Crowley’s first Junior High goal. Blake Vaught had a playmaker and also earned a pk that Werne finished. Zach Cummings, Bryson Becher, and Parker Werne also contributed assists. As usual, Eli Ernst was strong in goal. JH JV Plays Tell City On Thursday, September 28th, the Junior High JV Boys Soccer team traveled to Tell City to play against Tell City JV. While Tell City was younger and smaller, they were organized in defense and had some technical players moving forward. They scored the first goal off a misguided Ranger free kick. The Rangers then settled in and scored six unanswered goals to win 6-1. Sam Ernst, Ryder Winters, Zander Reyling-Schwartz, and Adam Wilmes all put the ball in the net. Easton Novak also scored his first two Junior High goals. Zander Berg, Gaige Schnell, Bentley Mohr, Clark Welp, Eli Reckelhoff, and Colin Tanner all contributed assists. Owen Haas was solid in goal.
