On Thursday, the #10 ranked Lady Rangers welcomed the Southridge Lady Raiders to Best Home Furnishings Stadium for a PAC Conference Match. The Lady Rangers were riding an emotional high after beating Heritage Hills just two days prior to secure 1st place in the PAC Conference. The Lady Rangers came out to play and were able to grab an early lead in the 10' courtesy of Avari Boeglin who collected a pass from Anna Muller to secure a 1-0 lead. Anna Muller was able to secure an insurance goal in the 14' with a beautiful set-piece from 35 yards out which sailed over the Lady Raider Keeper. The Lady Rangers were able to keep up the pressure, but were unable to find the back of the net, due to the stingy defense of the Raiders, until the 38' when Paige Memmer made a marauding run between the two center backs and collected a ball played by Anna Muller to secure a three-goal halftime lead. After the break, the Lady Rangers were eager to get more, and it did not take long. In the 41' Paige Memmer got her brace after collecting a looping ball from fellow junior Sydney Berger to go four goals to the good. The Lady Rangers capped-off their scoring from an Anna Muller corner-kick, which was played sensationally into the back of the net off the boot of fellow senior Sydney Bettag. The Lady Rangers are back in action on Saturday, September 6 when they welcome the North Posey Vikings for a PAC Contest. This fixture is slated for a 12:00PM (EST) kick-off at Best Home Furnishings Stadium.
