On Saturday, the Lady Rangers were back in action at Best Home Furnishings Stadium where they welcomed the North Posey Lady Vikings for a PAC Conference Match. The home side wasted little time in getting on the board. In the 2' Paige Memmer collected a ball inside the box and slotted it far-bar for her first of three. Anna Muller added another in the 7' and Paige Memmer got her 2nd in 8' (assisted by Kate Pund). Memmer was able to get her hattrick in the 9' courtesy of a clever backheel from Anna Muller. This concluded the soring in the opening period of play. In the second half, the Lady Rangers sought to pressure more and they were able to immediately when senior Haley Pund played a set-piece over the Viking defense to find Kate Pund who rifled a shot through the hands of the Viking Keeper. Kate bagged her brace in the 56' with a far-bar strike from just inside the 18 yard box. Freshman Ellie Meunier added the seventh in the 58' and the eighth in the 61' to cap off the scoring the Lady Rangers. They are back in action on Tuesday, September 9 when they travel to Tell City for a PAC Match against the Lady Marksmen. The contest is slated for a 6:00PM (EST) kickoff.
