On Saturday afternoon, the Forest Park Rangers put together their most dominant performance of the season, cruising to an 8-0 win over the South Spencer Rebels in PAC play. The Rangers seized control from the opening whistle, dictating possession and pressing the Rebels’ defense early. Their persistence paid off in the 11th minute when Gabe Schemanuer slipped a through ball to Lucas Dooley, who calmly slotted home the opening goal. In the 37th minute, Parker Wolf set up Hunter Osborne for his ninth goal of the season, doubling the Rangers’ advantage. Forest Park fired off 12 first-half shots and entered the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead. The second half saw the Rangers turn up the pressure even further, pouring in six more goals to seal the result. Dooley struck again in the 6th minute off a feed from Edgardo Zelaya, then completed his hat trick three minutes later thanks to an assist from Luke Meunier. He added a fourth goal in the 14th minute, this time set up by Schemanuer. The scoring surge continued when Ayden Lubbers found Trevor James in the 24th minute for his first goal of the season. James wasn’t finished, adding another tally just four minutes later. In the 36th minute, Bryce Memmer connected with Tucker Wathen for Wathen’s first goal of the year, capping off the Rangers’ commanding performance. With the win, Forest Park improves to 6-7 overall and 5-4 in PAC play. The Rangers will look to carry their momentum into another home conference matchup on Tuesday night when they host the North Posey Vikings.
